Rob Roy Boutique Accommodation

We stayed as a couple for a two-night weekend break at the Rob Roy Boutique Hotel in Berwick-upon-Tweed and had a really great stay. The room was spotless, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was big and really comfy, and the room was nice and dark at night which made for a great sleep. The waterfall shower in the ensuite was also excellent after a day out walking around the town. The room also had nice little touches like a mini fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits, which was great to have when relaxing in the room. The self check-in and check-out worked really well and made everything simple and hassle free. The instructions were clear and the whole process felt very well organised. A few highlights from our stay: • Easy parking • Big comfy bed and a room that was nice and dark for sleeping • Great waterfall shower • Mini fridge with tea, coffee and biscuits in the room • Shared lounge area with a projector and large screen, plus a coffee machine • Simple self check-in and check-out The location is ideal if you’re looking for a place to stay in Berwick-upon-Tweed, as it’s close to the town centre, the historic town walls and plenty of places to eat. During our stay we had excellent meals at Amrans Indian and Limoncello Italian Restaurant, both just a short walk away. We also enjoyed a walk along Spittal Beach, which is a lovely beach. Overall it was a really relaxing weekend, great for exploring Berwick and the surrounding Northumberland coast. We had a great couple of days and would happily stay again when we’re back in Berwick.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful hotel. Craig the owner explained everything and texted us a few times to make sure everything was OK. Rooms beautifully decorated,bed so comfortable. Shower amazing. We were in a junior suite on the ground floor but it was at the rear of the hotel. It was quite dark so when we go back we would book a front facing room. There is a kitchenette you can use if you want to eat in the hotel but we preferred to eat out. There is also a lounge you can use if you dont want to stay in your room. Every part of this hotel is spotlessly clean. We will certainly go back.

Nice one night stop off stay for us. Rooms are stylishly decorated and the shower was best hotel shower ever!! Room nice and clean, all amenities as described. Never used communal areas. Check in/out so easy - perfect. Communication from Craig was excellent. 100% Recommend and 100% stay again. Thank you.

Great little find! Stayed in room 4 with a lovely view of the estuary. Room was spotless and a very good size. Kitchen facilities were an added bonus if needed. Lots of useful information and great suggestions on the app once booked. Allanton Inn, TD11 3JZ approx 10 miles away perfect, one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Atelier in the town, first class and great beer. Would definitely recommend Rob Roy if in the area, as a great base. Boat trip from Chandlers in the town well worth the experience and blessed with pods of dolphins.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Booked super last minute but excellent communication meant we had no problems and check-in was very convenient. Rooms are beautifully furnished and was such a huge fan of the shower, in particular! Could not recommend enough.

Really well run, excellent communication. The room and the whole building are immaculate, with the added bonus of a coffee machine in the kitchen area. The location is not in the best part of town but it seems safe, was extremely quiet on a Friday night and is literally less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Berwick. Would use again without any hesitation.

We came here for a little long weekend getaway and the accommodation and location exceeded our expectations. The boutique itself has all the amenities and more required to make your stay great. It’s located a 5 or so minute walk across from main town Berwick. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Will definitely visit again in the future and recommend to others.

I stayed here for a few nights recently and had a really lovely time. The property is beautifully decorated - stylish but also very warm and cosy - and it immediately felt comfortable and welcoming. The room itself was clean and comfortable, making it an easy place to relax. Communication was excellent throughout, with clear and helpful information provided ahead of check-in about access and how everything worked. The location was also great: a short walk into Berwick with local shops nearby, and plenty of on-street parking available right outside. I would happily stay here again and will definitely return when I’m back in the area.
